Up to $3,000 cashback, if it’s worth it
Several lenders are paying refinance cashbacks. A cheque is nice, but the rate matters more, so I’ll compare both over three years before recommending a switch.
| Typical cashback | Usual minimum loan | Common conditions |
|---|---|---|
| $3,000 | $350,000–$700,000, depending on lender | 80% LVR or less; refinancing from another lender; settle within the offer window |
| $2,000–$2,500 | $250,000–$500,000 | 80% LVR or less; one cashback per application |
Cashback offers are set by lenders and change often. Eligibility, the current offers and their full terms are confirmed in your review. Cashback isn’t available on every loan.
About Kade
From the field to finance
Professional sport taught me that results come from preparation, not luck. I bring the same approach to your home loan.
I work with a panel of lenders, not one bank. Whether you’re refinancing, buying, upgrading or investing, my job is to find the rate and structure that fit you, then do the legwork to get you there.
Common questions
Does the review cost anything?
No. The review is free and there’s no obligation to switch. If you do go ahead, I’m usually paid a commission by the lender you choose, and I’ll disclose it before you proceed.
Will it affect my credit score?
The review itself doesn’t need a credit check. A credit enquiry only happens if you decide to apply with a new lender.
How long does refinancing take?
Usually a few weeks from application to settlement, depending on the lender and your current bank.
Who qualifies for the cashback?
It depends on the lender. Most need you to refinance from another lender, borrow above a minimum amount, keep your loan at 80% of the property value or less, and settle within a set window.
